I don't think either is correct, parents who conceive accidentally are usually in their teens, therefore they are children themselves trying to raise children. They are thrust into a life they don't know how to deal with and are tossed about like a boat with no sails. They are then looked down upon by society and treated like dirt and forced to live in poverty. That is why it is so important to plan before you have children. Many young parents just don't know how to be parents or to live for that matter, and often their stress and disappointment is focused towards the child they had.

I would certainly hope not! If two people are already in a married relationship then whether their child is accidental or not does not matter. Children are the joys and blessings of a successful marriage and should never be considered less than that.

i am the mother of an "accidently conceived" child and i love her with all my heart. the reason it is rough to raise any child, accident or not, is because they demand a lot of attention and finances. the problem lies not with the child but with the parent... if there is a negative issue because of the arrival of said child. give it up for adoption if you can't or don't want to handle it!

No never. I conceived my first and only child by accident and that too after five years of marriage; and have never come across such a thought. And what we as couple feel is that his presence is most valuable to us.
