Im going to re-paint the bodywork of a bike and wanted to know the best way to get a nice shiny finish on the plastic fenders, (its a modern trials bike kind of think). What kind of methods can i use that are efective, long-lasting and reasonably priced?

Thanks.

Guardrailjim beat me to it but it is worth repeating just to get the point over. Plastic guards will flex, especially so on an off road bike so be careful what you select. It is one of the reasons why you don't see painted plastic parts on moto cross or other off road bikes.

You better ask a professional body shop this question.
Plastic flexes and will crack the paint in no time.
I think there is flexible paint on the market.
Those are the key words "I think".
I'm not a pro in this field.
When in doubt, check it out.
