Here we go again, the same white people that said imus should not be fired for something the whole world knew he did and for the duke race case for somewhere we knew for sure they were. They both received a wild and rabid presumption of innocence. I saw a bunch of attacks on al sharpton and on black people in general for the duke case. Without a single hint of irony, Michael vick (at least a year before a trial ) is already convicted. Like o.j. the white public wants the conviction to be cemented prior to the evidence, then scream jury nullification when the evidence doesn't support the case. The most important thing I find, is not whether he is innocent or not but what a firestorm is already created, how its about black athletes in general and a bunch of other things that aren't allowed to happen for white suspects. Did the duke case get spread to white athletes or imus to white broadcasters. I just want white people to remember next time al sharpton complains that it's like u

If you really like justice and hate when race keeps something from being a big deal. Here are a few current events for black athletes and a little history. Genarlow wilson in jail. Jason Taylor de dolphins victim of hate crime last year. Ian Johnson fiesta bowl star death threats for marrying a white woman. Goetz being made into a movie with jodie foster "the brave one" like the stuart case in boston or susan smith. All muslims are terrorist but all white women don't kill their children. Why doesn't o.j. find the real killers but no one even thinks about a trial for jon bonet. If one person does something and they are white, it's always somewhere you wouldn't expect and a tradgedy. If the same incident happens with a black person, it's in this drug infested crime area(where people deserve to be victimized) and is reason for putting the victims in a more police state and making mass arrest. Serial killers, school shooters, baby killers but you are only afraid of black athletes

Exactly, these enlightened answers that are repeated several thousand times are like generic white talking points. Black people created 400 years of laws on the books in every state in the union to avoid responsibility. 400 centuries of black people working isn't equal to the half century that most white families have done. If only black people would act 100% better than every white person to ever live they would be allowed some human dignity etc etc blah blah blah.. Forturnately for me I am not from one of the previous 20-30 generations of blacks who expect anything else from white people. If you read american history, white people have always structured longwinded arguments for racist treatment. Most of you write like it's up to you. Please whenever you are ready, bring it on. As every white country elects right wing nuts the others are ELECTING sane populist. Thanks for ignoring all the examples. Also your LOGIC dictate that there be some way to blame the dogs for this.

My big problem with the Vick case is that all of the dogs involved are white...how racist is that?!!

Wow. How slanted can you be? How do you not fall over when you walk?
First, this is not the trial of the new century. This is a no-contest. The case is being widely-discussed because evidence for the case is enormous. Vick is not a bright guy. Evidence for an activity like dogfighting, a moronic use of time incidentally, tends to be plentiful and obvious because of the destruction involved.
Do you defend dogfighting? It is obviously illegal, is it not?. Are not whites who perpetuate this disgusting activity also prosecuted? Or do you only defend blacks who are indicted for dogfighting promotion?
You're right, there is a lot of racism here. From the likes of you.
As for Duke, the charges for that were clearly racially motivated. Some blacks clearly hate rich white kids. You guys have got to find a hobby.

I feel sorry for you. You must have a giant-sized inferiority complex. Blacks have much to be proud of, Colin Powel comes to mind, but Michael Vick is not one of them. Did you see the clips of those poor dogs?
Re: the Duke LaCross players - obviously you have not seen where Mike Nifong has lost his law license and publicly apologized for chasing those 3 boys. He publicly admitted he had no cause to believe a crime was comitted and that the accuser was obviously in need of mental help. The whole case was about getting the Black vote.
Re: Imus. I do not watch his program. He's a little too out there for me, however, I don't think he really intended to insult the girls, I think he was trying to be "funny" to those who watch his show and who think that kind of language is "in." Not to worry. Anyone who would not insult the girls was not watching the show.
By the way - have you seen where Al Sharpton has publicly apologized for ruining the lives of 3 New York policemen who were totally innocent when accused of a crime by a young woman who was later proved to be a liar? Neither have I.

"duke race case"? where did you get that from, your worped imagination. I don't recall the duke case having anything to do with race.
Would you really like to know where prejudice comes from? It comes from loud mouths like you who constantly bring it up... most of the times when amd where it doesn't exist in the first place. If black people would just shut there foul vulgar mouths for a few years and work hard and be upstanding citizens and live good clean family lives maybe ... just maybe you would begin to get the respect that you think that you deserve.
Try taking all the energy you exspell running your mouth and put it toward something usefull.
You create racism and prejudice when you start talking the cr*p that you talk. I guess you never thought about that now did you. You create the racism, not white people.

I could be wrong but I think your premise is an example of Non Sequitur.
Non Sequitur is the simple fallacy of logic of stating, as a conclusion, something that does not strictly follow from the premise. For example, "Racism is wrong. Therefore, we need affirmative action." Obviously, there is at least one missing step in this argument, because the wrongness of racism does not imply a need for affirmative action without some additional support (such as, "Racism is common," "Affirmative action would reduce racism," "There are no superior alternatives to affirmative action," etc.).
I just wish non-white people would study logic so they can see through such arguments.

Don't you know how uptight people are about cruelty to animals these days? Jeez, you can barely give a dog a good swift kick without the SPCA coming down on you like hellfire and the judge throwing the book at you. They even like to tell people in other countries--in their OWN countries--how to treat animals (e.g. Bridgette Bardot --sp?). They think they have all the right answers--almost like religious people

This is not a racial. This is about cruelty to animals and illegal and criminal activity. And this guy should not get away with this if it's true. What about all the Hollywood celebrities from Dizzy world that are acting badly? Should they not face up to their actions? What will Al Sharpton do to polarize everyone next? I really don't care.
