I've scoured the net looking for information on a tile picture made by Maw & Co, Highgate Tile works, Stoke on Trent
The picture is made of two majolica tiles which combine to depict 5 birds in various positions on a branch. I've also tried ebay without success...anyone out there know what this picture is called or where I could find one?

Maw and Co have been going for over one hundred and fifty years in the ceramic tile business. In 2001 they came under new ownership and their details are now Maw & Co Ltd Welby House, Sneyd Hill Industrial Estate, Burslem, Staffordshire Tel: 01782 577250. The first thing is to telephone them or write with your problem. You never know they may have some in the cellar

You've probably found this, it's a database of tile designs

Can't see the five bird one but had you thought about contacting them to ask?
Another possibility is that it seems Maws had some imitators so it could be one of these.
Good luck anyway.

Hi! There's an enormous amount of data about Maw & Co. including their website, archives, a Museum (Jackfield Tile Musem), exhibits, books, etc., offering resources to aid you in your search. I would send a jpg. and/or your description to them as their historical inventories seem well documented. I'm sure they will be happy to help you!
Good luck!
