Janis ians song societys child is very powerful . The theme is societys power to overcome the best instincts of people who want to change , and force them back into a robotic mold . She says at the end - One of these days Im gonna stop my listenin , gonna hold my head up high , one of these days Im gonna spread my glistenin wings and fly - but that day will have to wait for awhile , baby Im only societys child , when were older things may change , but for now this is the way they must remain . This plaintive thought reminds me of the sad and isolated people who sometimes write about their lives here. They are being crushed by a society that will not let them love who they wish .

There are numerous songs that can move me to tears, but the one that comes to mind is I NEED YOU NOW by SMOKIE NORFUL.
I think it has alot to do with my spiritual struggle and the questions I have regarding religion altogether.

good question. there are allot ,but then again i am an emotional person. I cry over allot of songs.
Christmas songs make me sad, when its about kids.
There is a Tim McGraw song that makes me cry.
Cindy Laupers True Colors makes me cry. *its a deeper thing for me*
