I'm so torn right now. I mean, as a baseball fan, shouldn't I celebrate a player breaking one of the most sacred records? But how can I, with all of the controversey around Bonds: the tax stuff, he's just really nasty to people, and of course-steroids. He admitted to using steroids, then denied it. There's never been any..."proof" (although "Game of Shadows" was some proof). I think I'll watch each one once, just to see the reaction, and then avoid watching it again. Which will be hard, because ESPN will show it everyday for a week, then at the end of the baseball season, and a few times next season.

My feeling is, if baseball is not going to stop him from breaking the record, then so be it. They should have done something about the steroids long ago. Bonds himself should have come forward and settled this situation by having himself tested at anytime. Too bad Hank Aaron is the one that Bonds is being so disrespectful of, if Bonds had a great respect for him, he would want to prove to Hank that his record was broken legitimately. But nothing is being done so if the record is broke then so be it. I'll watch, say good for him, and then go back to watching my White Sox.

If there were such a movement, it will draw the attention of the casual and non-fans; people who ordinarily would not be watching will probably take the time to do so. Then you've pretty much shot yourself in the foot.
For me, I will watch it - like him or not, it is baseball history. Whether they place an asterisk by his name is another matter, and that will baseball history in its own right.
GOTTA LOVE THIS GAME!

Are you going to boycott every game when someone suspected (not proven) to have taken steroids is playing?
If not, then you're not being very fair or unbiased.
If so, then you'll never watch a game again.

Forget it, you are wasting your time and anything like that would not be in the best interest of baseball. Just like the rest of us, your feelings, and a hand full of others, would not have any impact on the future of MLB.

Maybe you haven't heard. Conseco is accusing A-Rod also.
But baseball will probably overlook it. He's more marketable than Bonds.

You are racist... thats all.
Bonds still hits HRs after that steroid scandal. Since 2002 when that scandal blew up... 46, 45, 45, (injured) 5, 26, and this year 20+.
You just wish he was white. They downplayed and threatened Hank Aaron when he surpassed Babe Ruth also.
