Well then we would not be able to live in our bliss full ignorance anymore. God forbid Americans understand what is truly happening on the other side of the world, that is why we have the misinformation campaign to keep you all in line.

The media is owned by corporate America. Corporate America just made another acquisition within the news media with the purchase of WSJ by Murdock. What you see on TV, what you read in the paper is controlled by the conglomerates. Make no mistake, corporate America's greed will keep the grisly realism from your eyes & ears. Oil companies are posting record profits, reconstruction contracts are being awarded in Iraq without submitting bids for the work. These same contractors are building structures with substandard materials. Haliburton is selling coke to the army at the bargin price of $75.00 a case. Things are going great for corporate America. Americans that are already very, very rich making more money from the blood of America's youth. For all these reasons, the truth in jornalism will only be made public after it is all over & corporate America will not feel any reprocussions from the truth. My congressional representative is beholden to corporate America & so is yours, be they democrat or republican.

Other news sources like Al Jazzera have been guilty of staging graphic scences to sensationalize their views. They are controlled and owned by the Government.
CNN Fox etc are competitive and have made many public officials mad which is a good thing because it shows they strive for some truth.
Showing dead or dying on the news was banished when a mother saw her son being dragged alived by the enemy- My mother told me about this happening during the Vietnam war.
I do not want to watch them die.

If Americans had access to uncensored news then a lot of politicians would not be re-elected.
The Constitution would not be in danger of becoming nothing more than memory.
The American people might actually be able to find out just what Washington is really up to and be able to hold politicians accountable for there actions,or lack there of.
And maybe, just maybe the great American pork-barrel buffet could be shut down

You might better ask, "How would America change if CNN, Fox News had uncensored news and published what is true instead of what the busineesmen who control the news services and the politicians want it to show?"

If Americans knew that we are the real terrorists in the world then there would chaos in America. The government with the help of the corporation owned mainstream medias have to keep brainwashing Americans into thinking that we are perfect. That way the government will keep on with our brutal foreign policy.

During the mid to late 60's, the American media brought the Viet Nam war into everyones living room every single night on the evening news - graphic and real - and you can bet the farm that it changed America's attitude about the war.

I think we would have a lot more support for the war. I've had friends come back and they were shocked at how little the media showed of the horrors of the prior government. The fact is, though, that we really don't want to know.

Wars wouldn't last so long because everyone would see exactly what happens in war. Right now, it's easy to change the channel or pretend that nothing is happening. A lot harder to ignore if you were to see dead and mutilated men, women, children and animals 24/7.
Neo-cons don't want you to see that because the population would insist they stop before they achieved their disgusting goals.
Ms. Blue above illustrates exactly what I'm saying. She doesn't want to see them die....

If they were allowed to show all the grisly uncensored details, I think people would be a little less gung ho about sending their sons and daughters off to fight.
