Yes, there are plenty of things to do for kids while they are in Vegas.

Here's some of best of the free spectacles,
take them to see these:
Water Show - Fountains of Bellagio
(every 15 minutes I think; at night)
Circus Acts - Circus Circus
Fremont Street Experience - Fremont St.
Masquerade Show in the Sky - Rio
Volcano Explosions/White Tigers - Mirage
Lions - MGM
Sirens of TI - Treasure Island
Sunset Stampede - Sam's Town
Atlantis & Festival Fountains - Caesars Palace

Other than that, kids would REALLY love to be at Circus Circus. They have a whole level right above the casino, it's a playground for kids called The Midway. Well, it's a family place :) People can play games with cheap decent prices and win some prizes! It can be a lot of fun! Also, they have a Circus Acts (for free) that you can watch for every 15 or 30 minutes I think (the time changes!), and Circus Circus also has an indor amusement park, The Adventure Dome, where there are some rides that people can go on to, and they also have some more games and entertainments there. Circus Circus would be the best for kids!

Excalibur also has an arcade downstairs, but it's pretty small, and it's a little more expensive there.

New York New York has the roller coaster where you can ride for $12 a ride.

Also on the strip, right across NewYork NewYork, there's a big M&M's store. If you're a big M&M's lover, it's the best store for you. Next to it, there's a big Coca-Cola store, and Gameworks somewhere near too! Kids would love to go to these places.

There's also..
MGM Hotel, where the have the lion exhibit!
The Mirage, where they have the famous white tigers!
The Flamingo, where they have the flamingos in the garden.

Well, these aren't really "kids" stuff, but families can enjoy these next ones together... you can take them to the The Venetian, it has a nice scenery as if you were in Italy. You can also ride the gondola.

Caesar Palace has it's place set like if you were in the ancient time in Rome.... and has pretty good shopping place...

Also, on the inside of Bellagio, there is this picture spot that they change the theme occasionally, i thought it can be super nice. And at night, they'd have the water show, it's really beautiful.

Luxor has a very nice egyptian theme, and you can take a picture with the Sphinx and the pyramid in the background. (right outside the hotel).

Go Paris Hotel, and go up the Eiffel Tower, it's not too high but you can still get a great view of the city.

Go to the Strathosphere hotel and go to the Strathosphere tower, (i forgot how much it cost) but it has a really nice beautiful view from up top. Plus, there are some roller-coaster rides up there too, but if you're afraid of heights, I wouldn't recommend it.

And their newest hotel (i think), Wynn, has pretty picture spots too, inside AND out!

Well, that's just SOME things, and i suggest you just go inside each hotels. Go to hotel to hotel, it's fine. That's what i do :) Every hotel has their own theme, and you should enjoy it. And if you like shopping, make sure to chekout the outlets! Oh, keep in mind that Vegas has the best buffets!!! Have a fun trip :)

Not really, to be honest. Unless you like spending a LOT of time at the pool in 100 degree heat. Most shows are not appropriate for children, many fine restaurants frown on them, and they're not allowed in the casinos. Depending on their ages, there are SOME attractions, but not many. Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay and the Secret Garden at Mirage are acceptable for the elementary to early middle school set. The preschoolers wouldn't get much out of it, and the teens would probably find it lame. Circus Circus and M&M World are fine for the preschoolers and elementary schoolers, but teens would probably be bored. Arcades would appeal to the early teens, but probably be over the heads of anyone younger and not interesting to those over about 16. There's some roller coasters and other thrill rides, but you have to be a certain height to ride them, which would rule out many kids up to about 14. Beyond that, there's really not much for kids. This is why Vegas is no longer billed as a family destination.

Not really, there is swimming and a lot of the Casino's have video game areas, but all in all if you are coming to visit there is nothing here. They tore down the Wet and Wild park almost 3 years ago. To live here there is not even much more either. Do not let people fool you. I have 5 children and I live here now. We swim everyday and well would love to do more, but there is not a real Zoo or anything.
