he's always at the side of his cade, laying down flat on his stomach (not hunched up in a ball) with his head [chin? i guess] against the bottom of his cage. we've recently taken him to the vet to get checked out & bought him a new bigger cage... could the cage be the problem? please help

Does your rabbit have an outside pen? He might want a bit of excercise. You could get him some toys, rabbits do play with balls, just make sure its not one that he could easyly chew as this could upset his tummy. How about bringing him into your house and giving him lots of cuddles and attention

Well it might be old & dying..
The average age of how long rabbits live is 5-7.
But some may live up to 10, or some may die at 1-3.

He may just be hot I had a miniature bunny and he would always do this during the summer. He's not dying, don't listen to the other poster.

That's just typical rabbit behavior, especially when they get old.
