I would wager the same reason you don't see military men with beards. In case of a gas attack you have to put on your mask and you cannot get a seal with a beard. I have noticed a lack of facial hair on all top government officials, even congressmen. There is still a cold war mentality and there are still secret areas where the government can move to. And since the president would probably be on the top of any attack I am willing to bet he has a gas mask very close to him on one of those suited guys that are always around him.
But that is just a guess.

Long hair and facial hair went out of fashion with the onset of World War 1. Heads and faces were shaved so all soldiers would be alike.
The public picked up on it and viewed people with long hair and beards to be subversive. It was a good move by the Globalists towards achieving their goals.
It also had the added benefit of getting rid of head lice.

Now that you have put the words into the mouth of the incumbent, don't be surprised if one day you see a bearded President Bush appearing on national TV! Or, maybe, the presidential hopeful Obama can rekindle the spirit of Abraham Lincoln!

Studies have shown that people think politicians with facial hair are less trustworthy. People think they're hiding their faces like they have something to hide.

a clean shaven man is more white collar and businesslike but, if you elect HRC, you might get your facial hair thing going on!

I would guess they think there not trust worthy and hiding stuff.
I personally believe they just don't want a 'real' man President with balls.

Because some monkeys show their bare asses politicians believe they have to show their bare faces but I don't think it makes any difference.
