Could be either a security issue with the browser or a firewall. Try disabling any firewalls and if using IE7...
Click on Tools, Internet Options, Advanced tab and then the reset button at the bottom.
IE6...
Tools, Internet Options, Security Tab and then either lower to Medium or click the Default button if available.

Right click on the box and select show images. Or you go to internet explorer settings and choose show images.

check out the route you are using for the image. If this is wrong, image will not be displayed. Also check, the extension of the image (images/image1.gif) is not the same that (images/image1.jpg)

1. its because the images are not uploaded,
2. check the link in html, may be it is searching your computer local directory, change it to the folder name you have uploaded. (remove the local machine tag)
these are the only two problems regarding this check them out, it iwll be solved.
