If anyone quits during the quest for a record, they're disgracing themselves and the sport. Henry Aaron got all the respect he needs, because he's retired and not an active player. The record is standing but will be passed up eventually, and it does not have to be by Barry or A-Rod or Ken. Anyone can beat any record.

Questions such as these are asked by quitters and cowards because normal, sane people will not stoop to the level of retards.

Do you really think Barry Bonds would do that? He is the most arrogant guy in sports. All he cares about is the record. He doesnt care about his team, his team mates, his fans, or the city of San Francisco. He cares about himself and only himself. He is gonna break the record and go into the Hall of Fame as the cheater we all know that he is.

Needless to say, I would not respect Bonds no matter what he does. I will never respect that man.

I respect Bonds regardless. He was a HOFer before he allegedly used and is one still today.

No, I would absolutely not respect him! When he´s so close to make a new record, he should go on until he´ll make it.. and then he can quit.. If he wants to..

If he admitted to his wrongdoing and apologizes and quit right now, I would definitely change my feelings towards him, and say that he is an honorable man. But that is not likely to happen.

The only way I would respect him is if he admitted he took steroids and said "I am a piece of trash."

Most people are totally clueless...

What about San Francisco fans? What about his team?
Just leave them like that, huh?

Yall are so dumb. You just want him to look worse than the media portrays him.
