I enjoy all types of movies from the 1930's to present day. I guess prerequisites for movies I like are a good script, and good acting, (not always well known actor/actresses). I like Jamie Lee Curtis but not every movie she's done. I like westerns, but not every western. rating a favorite movie is really next to impossible to do because there are to many. Here are a few I like. Alien, Friday the 13th 1 and H2O, charlie chan in london, marty, dirty harry, the alamo, shane, old yeller, the list goes on.

Christine (made in the 80s adaptation of a Stephen King book)
Jurrassic Park
The Terminator 2 Judgement Day
The Haunting (the original black and white film)
House of Wax (staring Vincent Price)
Crossroads (1986 film staring Ralph Macchio and Joe Seneca)
