I think a safe bet will be a relief pitcher, unless of course a starting pitcher has a Jaret Wright (1997) or Randy Johnson (2001) type hot streak.

In 2004 Keith Foulke pitched 14 playoff innings and gave up one earned run, which roughs out to a .64 ERA. Since then his career has taken a downward spiral and he has actually retired.

Anyway getting back to the question, I would say either Jonathan Papelbon of the Red Sox if you want to go with a relief pitcher. However the Tigers' Justin Verlander seems like the type who could go on a dominant hot streak.

Dan Haren and Chris Young have huge leads in this category. Fausto Carmona and Carlos Zambrano are closing fast but they did not get good early starts.
