Strangely enough, I SAID MY PRAYERS!
I know that MOST people say them at night, but, I find that it is much better in the morning, for by the end of the day, I have usually done so much stupid stuff, that all I have is regret ALL NIGHT LONG!
Praying in the morning, keeps me away from a lot of nightmares, NASTY ONES, here's a sample of one of my prayers:
Oh, Lord. Please help me to not strangle the newspaper boy for tossing the newspaper through my window.
Please give me the strentgh to not behead the girl at the check-out counter for asking me for the one millionth time, "paper or plastic".
Please give me the strentgh to understand NAFTA (and why it is good for America).
Please tell me, Will M.C. Rove EVER get a spot on Dancing With The Stars? Will he WIN?
And please, please...Lord, Please, help me find my goats.
After my prayer THIS morning,
I then stumbled out to milk the goats and feed the ostriches.
But the cage was open and I had to stumble groggely, Still half asleep, thru the pasture until I caught them all and got then into the respective cages.
The ostriches are on medication and diet restrictions, all of them different! So in order to keep them straight we have dyed all of them in different colors. We dyed the white plumage in different bright colors in order to tell them apart .
The ostriches can only be led back by chanting loudly, "Chero- Cheek-Chee, Chero- Chic-Chic" over and over again.
My neighbors often complain at the site of me in my pajamas chasing these brightly colored, large animals around the neighborhood, yelling strange commands at the top of my lungs. Can you blame'em?
We live in a small tenement area and all the animals live inside with us. The Smell is tremendous. Thanks for reminding me!

Got out of bed, then bathroom, then made some coffee and tuned to the cartoons channel. :) Heck, it's Sunday!!!! :)
