I'm doing sum physical science paper and i nid to noe wat's the solute and solvent of wine!!!

Solvent are manly water and some alcohol, and solute are too numerous to mention (sugar, salt, you name it)

I have no idea why you would need to know (I am translating from the idiotic nid to noe) but traditionally a solvent is a liquid and a solute is a solid. I would say that the solvent is a 15% ethanol water mix, and the solutes are the dissolved tannins sugars and proteins left over from the fermentation.

As an aside learn to spell if attempting to ask a question.

General rule for mixtures: The substance of greater quantity is the solvent while the substance of smaller quantity is the solute. Wine is a mixture of different substances but the major components are water and alcohol. For most standard wines, alcohol is of smaller quantity than water. Thus, alcohol is the solute and water is the solvent.
