In return we will receive, complete free healthcare, free daycare, preschool, grade, high, and university education. Gov. Paid vacation, sick days, and pregnancy leave. Drugs for little or no money. Gov. provided nannies. I mean what else except for food, a house and a car is there to buy? Except for all those vacations you're going to take with all that paid vacation. I'm sorry extremely rich people, you wont be proffiting.... but i'm pretty sure you'll get by... somehow.

what you're describing is close to communisim. Communism is a very idealistic form of government, believing that everyone should have equal opportunities and access to resources. In practice, it does not work. People who consume the bulk of the resources - medical, housing, law enforcement - contribute the least in taxes to support those services. People are motivated to work hard by the reward they get for that work. If I see that most of my hard-earned money is going to unemployed people with six kids, I lose my motivation. The cost of expenses would rise far beyond the tax revenue and our society would crumble.

I haven't been to the Doctor in years, I have no children, not everyone is capable of studying at university (undergrad, post-grad, whatever) levels without dilluting the quality (and universal degrees would essentially make them all worthless anyways). If the government gives you paid vacation then you have a state controlled econemy...which worked really well for the Soviets, Cubans, North koreans, Chinese standards of living...

Not to mention that you have apprently just pulled "60%" out of nowhere and assumed that it would be enough to cover all these state programs properly and cover them in quality not just thrown together.

Your "plan" is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Work hard and you can have to money to pay for all these things yourself. Quit looking for someone else to take care of you. Be a man and take care of yourself.

That would be fine as long as house prices were kept reasonable but not artificially lowering the interest rate in a cheap attempt to stimulate the economy. Thanks, now I make the same money but a house that used to cost $225K now costs $600K!!! You can bet who pocketed most of the profit from that! (and it wasn't the average working family!) The administration in power in the US are a bunch of lying profiteers, and I voted for them!

What you forgot to mention is the fact that we would only be benifiting the Welfare babies, and those that live for generations on public assistance. the rest of us would be hurting.
And this sounds alot like the system in Germany.

Excellent deal for those who don't make much. Just another entitlement program for wealth distribution.
