You may say: We are not all like Steven Spielberg, or George Lucas, or Orlando Bloom, or Alan Sugar or soooo many other famous and well established people. Well, in moments when you are tempted to open your mouth and excuse yourselves from the "lucky" few, think of entrepreneur's Peter Jones's (Dragon's Den) words: " You've either got it or you haven't? Rubbish! I believe we've all got some 'it', maybe in different measures, but we all have 'it'. However, the majority of people haven't had the time or the inclination to reach inside themselves to find 'it'. Most of us don't even bother looking."

Some people have misunderstood the meaning of my question, possibly because I did not explain it properly, I do apologize for that. So, my question is to people who are being envious of other people's lives, or people who believe they cannot make it because their families told them so. Every day in my life and especially in my country, I hear people say: "I wish I had her luck", "They have everything and I have nothing" "They were born lucky"...what I am trying to say is: we can all make our dreams come true, however small they may be. Names I mentioned before (Steven Spielberg. George Lucas etc.) were a few names I instinctly used, since my profession has to do with arts....you can use your own examples, there are plenty of them.
My basic target is to make people realize that they are just as able as any other well-known human being...

Just one more thing which I find really important:
Both Science and Entertainment (which I both admire) have at the same time their positive side and their negative one. It is the way we use them that defines them either good or bad. Have you thought about the impact of the bombs??? How many people have died because of the product of Science? Equally, entertainment can be bad if we use it to convey negative messages and emotions...but try and see what messages both Steven Spielberg and M.Night Shyamalan (as a simple example) and a few other artists have managed to bring across. How about The Lord of The Rings? Are they being negative? What is the final message that we receive from the story? I believe that entertainment is equally important when the beauty of life and positive feelings are being presented, especially during this horrible period of wars we are going through...just think of "E.T." and how successfully the director brings the power of LOVE across...

Interesting of The People you have named there is but One Inventor Alan Sugar.
Is it that you place greater emphasis upon the ephemeral world of Entertainment.
Rather than on such as Crick & Watson Discoverers of The DNA

developed by Such as Alan Sugar, Clive Sinclair, Bill Gates, etc
If we cannot understand Others Such as Tim Berners Lee`s Contribution to Reality:
What chance do we have of recognising The True Potentiality of The Human Condition.
We stand here by The Services of such as Harvey who
discovered Circulation Lister who Discovered Antisepsis .
Yet We Lay Plaudits upon and Eulogise such as David Beckham.... who does what Kicks a Ball.
It`s not that we underestimate our own self`s value
It`s that our value judgement is totally escued

Looking at your question from the opposite way, I find it amusing that some people think they have a talent or gift for something when in fact they don't.

I'm sure we all know someone who is convinced they can sing, but has a voice that would curdle milk. Or that self-professed "computer whizz-kid" who is lost if they aren't using a PC running Windows & Office. And even then, they aren't that skilled.

Money and fame are appealing, but perilous.
Better to hide under a rock, then be burned by the flash of bulbs.

To be serious, I could do better but I am weighed down at the moment.

Cheers

because you think that you are not capable of doing the things people can ,
instead you punish yourself
you accept that you are not like this or like that
you are a pessimist ,

this is the reason why people call themselves emos !
