It has been proven time and time again in history that emotions can give a negative outcome to a lot of scenerios, i.e. wars, politics, religion, etc. So, why do we choose emotions over logic to make decisions in our daily lives? Yes, we are all human, however, if we are smart enough to build buildings, make mathmatical equations, and go into space, why can't we control our emotions? Is it choice or is it an uncontrollable part of humanity?

Emotions are way more powerful than reason, and even when some people try to think "logically" selfish motives seep in and can cause irrational thinking which produces the wrongful emotions to erupt. Every emotion is preceded by a thought and we have thousands of thoughts everyday, sad enough to say, most of them are negative. This is humanity's condition at the moment. We all have imperfect brains.
