, Hello Natasha, Let me see if I can help you out a little,. This is the way I do my housework, I pick a room to clean, I work only in this room, I set my alarm clock to go off in 15 min´s time. I see how much I can achieve, in this short amount of time . Trust me you would be surprised. Let´s say you wish to clean your bedroom, Okay ?,set the clock. All dirty clothes next to the bedroom door, never waste time taking thing´s back to thier rightful places until you have finished what you are doing. All clean clothes to the closet , hang up your dresses, jean´s jumper´s and so on. Ah don´t forget the shoes from under the bed. Stop. If you think you have had enough cleaning for day then stop and have a rest, but if you think you would rather carry on then set the clock for another 15 min´s. Just remember which ever you decide, always remember to reward yourself. Sit with your feet up read a magazine , or come back here ask or answer a few Q, 15 min´s here and there makes a big difference. Now that the sun is shining , sure you would rather be outside ,instead of being stuck indoor´s, A good way of keeping on top of the washing is, Put your washing machine on last thing at night before you go to bed , this way you washing will be ready to hang first thing in the morning. I don´t think it´s because you are lazy, It´s because housework never seem´s to end , but if you get yourself into a routine of 15 min´s here and there, you will soon have your place looking clean and tidy . Try 15 min´s, it work´s for me & I still have time to relax, and go to the beach for most of the day.

I'm 40-something and lazy but I've found over the years that if you clean as you go, doing a few minutes each day you can accomplish quite a bit. Try setting aside 30 minutes at a time to perform some type of cleaning task. Obviously laundry will take longer than 30 minutes but since you're generally not standing in front of the washer/dryer waiting on it the whole time I only count putting away in my time.
Load the dishwasher, if you have one, before work and have it run while you're working. When you get home or while you're seeing to dinner (even if it's takeout) unload the dishwasher and put things away.
Yes, housework still sucks and I hate doing it (I'm avoiding the laundry just now playing on the computer!) but when I do a little at a time it isn't so bad.

Sitting there moaning about how lazy you are does not help.
Get off your behind and take a good look around you. Now, imagine what it would be like if what you were looking at were clean?? The next step is doing it. clean it up or wash it or put it away. It really does not take very long and you will be very proud of yourself when you are done.
And here's another clue - during the week, don't leave something out & say "Oh, I'll put it away later". Don't do that. Put it away NOW - that way you won't have to "put it away later".
I'm rooting for you....I know you can do it.

Hi, We know you must be struggling at 19 with all this resposibility. If cleaning all the rooms at once seems daunting, try doing one room a day. You do not say how big your house is or if you have children; if you do have children MAKE them help... depending on age. The key to it all, as with most things in life, is pride. It's your home; if you like your home and, especially the things you have, make 'em shine; then you will, too. If you don't like what you have, gradually improve things. Bin your c**p, or sell it on e-bay. You are a good person to admit such a thing. You and your home are what you are. It's no good trying to improve your life if you can't be a***d. YOU are in control. Sink or swim... don't go under totally! It's not a fight; it's a question of attitude to yourself. We wish you all the best for your future. Start NOW, yourself. Lots of love.

Don't try to wash everything in one day.Put a load on,whichever you need the most, then when you go to dry,put another load on.I'm washing clothes now while on the computer.I always throw my clothes on my bed, then I have to fold and put away before I go to bed!once you get up off that lazy a** you will be motivated...lol..Get off the computer!do one room at a time and consider that an accomplishment, that's what I do. I throw everything in one basket put it in another room and thoroughly dust, wipe vacuum, and voile',I'm finished! Then either go to the next or save it for the next day...make sure you have all your cleaning items with you when you start...I use the new Windex anti-bacterial spray works great, smells great!

pretend you have to move out...that will get you motivated enough to get the washing done and things picked up...if you have too many clothes, you can pack them away as you clean and dry them...only keep out the clothes you wear and rotate what is packed away...it really helps...you can pack away all the things that are cluttering...if it's cluttering, you obviously aren't using it at the moment...when you need it, you will have the box ready to use...it's just simple organization...and fun at the same time, because some things you will have forgotten you even had when you open a packed box...

Make a list of things to do each day and hang it on the bathroom mirror and the refrigerator and your computer. Make it realistic so you can get it done. Having it posted all over the house will remind you and keep you from just "forgetting" Mark off each thing you get done.

eat the elephant one bite at a time...a list sometimes helps. Keep the list to ten things or so each day and soon it will only take a few items to stay on top of it...check off what you complete and that helps to feel progress
