Big waste of time. Most of my friends have a myspace, and it seems like they can spend 5 hours at a time, sometimes chatting to people who they've never met/heard of/seen before. Then I've noticed that many of my friends prefer to chat over myspace instead of calling or even writing a simple note. And 90% of the time arguements are caused/discussed over myspace! At our age we're supposed to be mature, grow in wisdom, and do more constructive things with our time, but I guess that whole theory is wrong.

Myspace is place for predator, but just becareful a liltle bit, and yes it a great place to meet and make friends.

i think going to bars is a good way to meet people in your area. myspace is a good way to make your net self seem cooler than your actual self.

Waste of time. Meet someone you can see, because you don't wanna make friends with random unknown people! That would kinda b unsafe.

It's ok I guess, just don't give away TOO much information, and only use it strictly for friends. Myspace causes a lot of trouble...

personally, i think it's a waste of time.
to meet people in your area, you should get out there! hang out at certain places and you should be able to meet other people - and it's better. you get to meet them in person and see how people really are. try like concerts, skateparks, malls, whatever your interests are [:

Ive had one before and you can meet people in your area but it can be dangerous Ive had a couple of stalkers

One time, I saw a little girl who asked her mom where stalkers came from.
Her mom said, "They come from MySpace, sweetie!"
I still believe that woman today.

i don't think you should meet anybody on there. you should only have the people on there who are people you know personally...safety reasons...lol it's just stupid, just go out and meet people, don't use myspace.
