Isn't the major blind-spot in the (R)'s thinking that war spending isn't included in gov't spending?

They say tax cuts have led to more revenues; if so, why do we need to keep borrowing so much to fund Bush's wars?

Watch them respond with answers that blame the poor.

They only criticize "big government" when it is spending on things that keep our country domestically from becoming a 3rd world nation. (Example: schools, environmental protection, health care, welfare for needy CHILDREN (not bums on the street)???

it is a blind spot. it amazes me that they can scream when a democrat suggests national health care or education funding.

it also amazes me that bush borrows the money and very little attention is given to it.

if we actually paid for the war as it goes on, the tax raises would be huge.

good question. maybe it will wake one or two people up.
