Wow, brain washed a bit? There were almost all Saudi Arabians on the planes that went into the buildings, Bin Ladin is a Saudi. The attack was not just on the Twin Towers, it was also on the Pentagon and supposedly on the White House too if they hadn't ditched the plane in PA.
Terrorists don't really care if they kill other Muslims, and they certainly don't care if they kill anyone else, as they proved in London, Bali and Spain. But this was an attack on American icons of business and industry, government and defense.

people all over the world were not attacked on 9-11. the attack happened in New York on the World Trade center. the people that died were in the USA, not all over the world. most were Americans, some were not....but it still happened here not all over the world.

It was an attack on Civilization.
Only the willfully ignorant and the stupid fail to see that it is this same radical Muslim violence that has led to terrorism and murder around the world.
Look at all the places Islamists have instigated violence:
Philippines, Bali, East Timor, Indonesia, Thailand, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Chechnya, Turkey, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Israel, Gaza, West Bank, Egypt, Libya, Algeria, Sudan, Somalia, Kosovo, France, England, Spain, USA, etc, etc.

Simple. Have these same terrorist groups killed people anywhere else besides America? If the answer is "yes", then it is considered an attack on the world. Remember they told us "they will continue to attack America and anyone allied with them". Remember the UK.

In a country like America, you will find mix of nationality and ethnicity in pretty much any big city.
But this attack happened on American soil, destroyed American landmark and was claimed to have been attempted in response to policies of American government. So it should be considered attack on America.

There were people from all over the world in those towers that terrible day (including Muslims), that is why it was called the WORLD TRADE CENTER.
But Bush and his cronies needed some excuse to get into war and finish what his Daddy rightly did not, and this was an excellent opportunity for them. Such a shame.
The buildings were in the US but the occupants were from all over.
