The Yanks have their ace on the mound today, meanwhile Cabrera is up and down. I think the Yanks will avoid being swept, at a time where they need to be winning series. Hats off to the O's for playing good fundamental baseball against the Yanks. Im a Yanks fan, but in this series so far, the O's are doing the little things and the Yanks arent.

As an Orioles fan I'm inclined to say that no they will not sweep the Yankees to increase the Red Sox lead, rather they just be concerned with beating the other team on the Field for themselves.
This new interim manager Dave Trembley so far IMO is giving a serious resume to have that interim tag removed for next season. He has the club re-energized now that they know who's going to be managing the rest of the way out, and the way he enforces the "team mentality" seems to work very effectively.
Aside from pitcher Cory Doyne, a minor league call up whom seemed very nervous by the way he pitched last night, it seems like whoever Trembley plugs into the game, they perform well under their role. I believe this is what you are seeing against the Yankees.
It also helps that Tejada is back too. I wouldn't take Chein Ming Wang lightly, but with Cal going into the hall today, I think that the Orioles will likely be a little more fired up to win today and thus sweep the Yankees. However this is a baseball game, it's not a very clear cut call.
I think a lot will depend on Daniel Cabrera if he can keep his walks down, or cut them out all together. He struggles with his control, but when he's got control working he has lights out pitches.

Yankees are now basically aiming for Wildcard (currently 3rd in the wildcard with 5 games out on Cleveland) Well , hard to tell. On one hand you have Caberera (the guy that allowed just 1 hit against Yankees last Sept. On the other , you got a pretty damn good pitcher in Wang ,hey , cant say enough about the guy (in his 3rd season , he aiready have Wamd L of 38-16 and the ERA of 3.71) I think it will be interesting to see what will happen. sports are unpredictable and a team is only going to do as good as their pitchers do.

Sweeping the Yanks gives the O's a glimmer a hope before the trading deadline. They need to trade Tejada and get a few arms to help Cabrera and Bedard.

as a huge sox fan, I have learned not to look back and worry but just to keep on winning. With that said, I think Cabrera will do well today because he is a second half pitcher and will start a streak sooner then later... why not today.

Of course, anything could happen but I would go with the Yankees today, with Wang on the mound.

I sure hope so. They've been hitting pretty well lately and now they have tejada back :). With that said, cabrera is either hit or miss. He will either look like an all-star, or he will give up alot of runs. Im hoping for the all-star today!!!
