No. Ever seen lions take down a sick elephant or wildebeast on TV? Or tiny spiders catching much larger insects in their web?

Wolves aren't bigger than buffalo. Cats are a similar size to rabbits. Weasels will also go after rabbits. There's plenty of prey which is bigger than it's predator.

No there's lots of predators that are smaller than their prey. Weasels preying on rabbits are one example.

No, cos I've seen ants kill tarantulas and lions can kill elephants. But seems like the theme is that the more there are the larger prey they can kill together

Not always. Snakes eat creatures much bigger than them because they can unhinge their jaw bones and swallow them whole.Birds like vultures eat meat off animals much bigger than them like lions but they do not actually kill them. Many insects kill off animals bigger than them as well but they can't kill many animals alone they are normall in big groups.
