DoH - my dog does the same thing, he barks and his legs move like he's running :P

Wow...I think this is one of the best questions I have ever seen on Answers.

I have absolutely no idea...and thats not easy to do to me. I'm leaning towards no...only because their sleep cycles are usualy so much different than ours. But, that would explain why my cat always acts like I'm not there...it's really sleep walking!

Like DoH I have watched many dogs dream, both my own and other people. I have a horse that falls half asleep while you are riding her. But like someone else saidin the wild, sleep walking animals make good meals for predators.

My dog obviously dreams, she emits muffled barking and her legs twitch - we think she's chasing bunnies in her sleep.

Maybe some, but I would imagine that any sleepwalking animals get picked off by predators pretty quickly.

Horses sleep standing up, and I know a horse that forgets to lock his knees when he sleeps which wakes him up when he starts to fall down.

well wilma have you seen a giraffe walk down the street late at night , well you might see a fish because they come out at night and eat racoons, but of course they dont sleep walk unless you sleep in a zoo in that case your homeless so get a job, that isnt a hooker your gross i can smell the stds from here. but thanks for asking
