a funny guy. i like to laugh, and if someone can keep me in good spirits and keep me smiling, that's the person for me. just as long as they knew when to be funny and when to be serious.
nothing's wrong with a deep thinker - it's just that sometimes they over analyze things and take the fun out of them. that would drive me crazy. 'hmm...what is this thing called laughter? does it really mean you're happy?' argg! stop over thinking it and shut up and do it!

I would prefer to have a man with a combination of both qualities of being a deep thinker and being funny. If he's funny all of the time, I'll feel like he can't take anything seriously. If he's in deep thought all of the time, I would find it annoying that he's not a lot of fun, and I would wonder what's on his mind.

I'd like to marry a deep thinker...who still knows how to be funny. A great sense of humor is important.

How about a deep thinking funny guy? or why not funny thinking deep guys. But I would advise watching out for funny thinking guys, some are off the deep end.

Funny. Funny people are intelligent also. I believe it was in psychology I learned that people with a sense of humor have to be intelligent, but intelligent people don't have to have a sense of humor. (I know you asked about deep thinkers. Intelligent people occasionally have the need for deep thoughts.)
