Why do people here only discuss indie,emo,soft rock or punk bands?
Why , isn't METAL an integral part of rock ??
Am i the only one you thinks a "noisy" band like Slayer is one of the best bands of all time??
Damn !! it makes me sick to my neck to hear people go on and on about "my chemical romance" , "fall out boy", "rob thomas".
I mean it's all you ever see people discussing.
Seriously i have never seen people asking questions about Motorhead, megadeth , amon amarth or for that part even Rammstein.
Where the hell are all the headbangers!!!!???

I love Ozzy too, and HIM, and Motorhead, yes Metal is a very integral part of my life. Do you like Joan Jett? How about Lita Ford? Educate the people MOTORHEAD!

The Metalheads are still here. Unfortunately, we have been pushed to the back burner of the stove and left to simmer. On the front burners you have Indie/Emo rock and Hip-Hop. The record companies force feed this crap to the masses, just like they did with boy bands, disco and 80s electronic music. But as most things left on a stove with the burner on high, they will, in time, be burned and useless. Metal however, on the back burner, simmering, will be around for a long time. Metal isn't going anywhere, just look at history.

Sweetie, relax. I love Motorhead and have seen them a dozen times at least. And what they think punk is makes me want to puke. I saw the Dead Kennedys in Miami before these Green Day lovers were born. I chose not to participate in the lame discussions that's all.

Slayer is an awesome band and it should be out there with all the indie bands and the emo bands just to put some metal out there

Metal is what is inside not what is popular. Thats why I love it. It gets to the core of me. That pop sh*t is for people that want to live in fantasy. Metal is about reality! Real people, real problems, real anger. It brings out the animal so I can breathe.
I've been a metal head since my first albums: Black Sabbath's "Heaven and Hell". AC/DC's "Back in Black". Judas Priest's "Point of Entry".

Black Sabbath, Deep Purple,Van Halen, Judas Priest, Metallica, AC/DC,
They Rock like no one else does.

Jen needs to stop being so stereotypical and get a clue. Metal is awesome and not all people who listen to it have mullets how vapid can you be. Slayer is awesome. How about Sepultura, Fear Factory, S.O.D., Pantera, Anthrax, Danzig & GWAR just to name a few.
