...I'll betcha the 1st airplane passenger's complaint lasted longer than that, too...Do you believe I had a bad day at work? And do you believe namby pampy, too-sensitive complainers should lose their right to fly anywhere? (and be forced into hard labor somewhere really uncomfortable?"

I believe it! I hear you! Yes complainers and whiners and customers from Hell should not be allowed to fly! They should be forced to work in a coal mine! Tee hee!

I used to work in customer service & people drove me mad! They would say the most stupid things. And idiotic complaints. Some people are so rude! It took everything in me not to reach over the counter and strangle them! I used to just subtly give them the finger under the counter or in the bag or I'd scratch my face very casually with my middle finger. Tee hee. I never got caught! I don't think they caught on to my sarcasm either.

:)
Hang in there!

I'm at work but it's my last day for 3 weeks! Feels like the last day of school. Unfortunately I won't want to come back. Maybe I'll win the lottery and won't have to!

Cheers!

like most things , yes there are a few that complain too much, but at the same time there are legitimate complaints that get ignored, or people are expected to just tolerate bad service, so people do have a right to expect the service they pay for, and to be kept informed and treated in a considerate manner, this is true whether in a drs office(one of my pet peeves is those who schedule several appointments for the same time or within minutes of each other and expect the patient to wait), on an airplane , anywhere, we are the consumers
but once an initial complaint is made, if problem not resolved, one should always let their feet do their talking, meaning leave and dont use that service again, but in an airplane, you are kinda stuck
i cant believe the cases though of airlines basically holding passengers hostage, if the plane hasnt taken off, and you want to exit, they should accommodate you, not make you sit for hours, so while yes there are a few extremist complainers, i think most are cases of people being ignored,

Sorry about your bad day. I think it would be interesting to see the reaction of many to flight the way it was back in the 50's when it wasn't unusual to see one of the four engines flame out during a trip. Or the turbulence make things interesting. Or the temperature in the cabin vary. The food was better then, though.

I agree and want to add the people who carry on luggage and are a pain in the donkey. They want by the window and get up 15 times. BAM
