Guess people want their 'points' in this Yahoo system - answering anything and everything and being 'witty' in their answers. Perhaps, they want to get higher and higher in the levels this Answers system offers.
I note that most USA comedians are most unkind and cruel in their regular presentations (note the pair on NBC and CBS) regarding humanity. Do we laugh because we are shocked or we agree with their presentation?
Sarcasm for humor is a standard in many minds. The sad thing is how sarcasm is how some families communicate with each other.

Some people while trying to be witty or humorous end up being curt,rude and at times insulting.Nothing can be done with Genetic dispositions but to ignore them.
