some people tease in just a joking way, mildly and friendly, and a few of these people do it without trying to see how their teasing will be received
some may tease because its just their style, and they really dont care if a person likes it or not
others tease in a put-down way, perhaps they need to feel better about their self's by putting others down
and finally i think some tease to purposely hurt others

if in doubt, and someone is teasing you and you dont care for it, mention it to them, their response will often give hints to their attitude, if they care or not, if they brush you off etc

Questions in the philosophy forum which I think are going to make sense, lead me on, and then end up being asked by people who can't even formulate a question. Which means it's like being "teased" like you have said, because without the tell tale raise in vocal pitch at the end of the STATEMENTS I can't see that you've ASKED QUESTIONS!!!!
