I could so do that! Remember people all these things are wants not needs. In place of phone write letters, In place of computers, read the paper. And in place of car, use public transport or dare I say it, walk more!

I don't own a cell phone, but we do need a car, in a rural area like ours there is no mass transit. and the supermarket is more that a few hilly miles away, and at sixty carrying packages isn't high on my list. I could manage without the computer, I did for fifty years after all, so I could do it again.

Sure, why not? I wouldn't have to leave home if I didn't want to. I can have my food delivered to me, there are services for that. If I wanted to go to town, I could take the bus or walk (may take the same amount of time). And if I wanted to travel, I could catch the shuttle down to the airport and fly away and who needs email anyway?
