It doesn't matter what speed I'm going or what gear I'm in. about 1100 RPMs and then I think it does it again around 2700 RPMs. A friend of mine told me this is the throw out bearing. It's gotten worse over a long period of time, 8 months and 16,000 miles.

It sounds like, if you take a metal ring and put it on a metal rod a bit smaller, and the spin the ring around the rod really fast. It sound like its coming from the exhaust manifold or transmission. When its making the noise i can feel the gear selector shake so i know the engine is shaking. It starts about 1100 RPMs and stops about 1200 RPMs. It's relative to RPMs and not speed because it'll even do it in neutral. It's gotten significantly worse, from nothing to very loud since I've had my truck, ~8 months and ~16000 miles.

1st thing is to pin-point the exact location the sound is occurring. Then you can diagnose the problem.
