It is said that the upper classes founded and built up this country?

But now the down trotten run it. Do you agree or disagree and IF you AGREE what do you think you can do personally to change it?

I apologize I'm referring to America. And to the person who referred to as the classes as to wealth. Upper and lower class has nothing to do with money but the way one behaves and responsdes to things. Thier are upper class people who are poor and vice versa.

Criminals have nothing to do with the question. There is a book called victimless crimes it would do you good to read it.

It bascially says everyone is a criminal because one day one thing may be legeal like walking a dog without a leash the next day it is not and therefore everyone that walks their dog without a leash is a criminal.

I'm strickly referring to upper and lower classes. This has nothing to do with econimics.

Actually, during genealogy and history researching, I've found that most of the upper class people who came to America during its foundling years were criminals or embarrassed people sent out of their old countries. Mostly the downtrodden came up with ways to become less so...and they are the ones who ran the show.

I see no need to let only the upper classes run things now.

I agree that the upper classes founded the U.S.
After every revolution the revolutionary leaders take charge,be it France,Russia, or the USA.
I also feel they still run it.Look at the money it takes to get into elective office.
Can you perhaps name one country that is not run by the upper classes?
Face it after a Russian style revolution even the most humble serf who had a high position in the communist party was no longer a lower class person was he?
Wealth,power and prestige if you have one you have the other two.
If the downtrodden run the country they have power hence from the above definition they must have wealth and prestige. And are not lower class.
There have been people of humble origins who have achieved greatness in the world of politics. But after there achievements they entered the upper-class.

I never heard that. I always read where all classes of people contributed to the early growth of this country. Some people came with considerable money and were successful, others with no money and made it too. But all were willing to work.
