I hope it is easy for you!! (hug) I'm so sorry I wasn't able to get back to you quickly the other day. *sigh*

As for me...... I always forgive IF someone will take the time to talk to me about the things I do not understand. I don't think it is ever that I'm mad...... usually just confused as I realize that my interpretation of things is so different from theirs. I just want to find a way to come to an understanding whether we agree to disagree or not. That is when forgiveness can always come...... once the parties have come to an agreement. That? Well that should be so easy to do.

Please have a wonderful Sunday yourself. :)

Understanding is a complex process, but I do it because I need to understand in order to forgive. If you want forgiveness, you must work for it, but I am not going to say that I am all ready to forget.

Depends on the situation sweetie. Some things I can understand but I cannot forgive. You have a wonderful week. :)

Well Moon, it really takes time to understand and forgive. To understand a person, one must be willing to really listen to one's problems and not to criticise them. To forgive, it depends on how major / minor the problems are. When comes to problems like a hit-and-run incident, it's either hard / never to forgive that person. When it's incident like quarrels with loved ones or vice-versa, it can be forgiven.

Well, to make it simple. To understand a person is to forgive and that takes time.

Cheers :)

Well for me it used to be a very difficult thing to understand why things would happen, or why people do what they did.
Now it is much easier for me to discern and be more understanding, as with my years came my passion for loving people, and with love comes unconditional forgiveness.
The forgiveness was easy to come by once I learned what unconditional love was.
Blessings and love,
BESS

When I discover I've been betrayed a lot of times, my mind and my heart shut down and then i won't understand any explanation given, and that follows my incapability to forgive.

Hardest person for me to forgive was a doctor what misdiagnosed with a wrong disease for two years. It was two years of steadily increasing pain and torture. Finally leading me to feel hopelessness and depression, along with some permanent physical setbacks. I'm still alive thanks to another doctor, but makes me upset that the doctor wouldn't even apologize.

i have loads of tolernace and empathy to forgive people for their sins.i have done it in the past and i will do it in the future too.
sins turn out to be criminal , if not rectified and repeated time and again. that is the starting point for me , when it starts becoming tough for me to forgive and forget.

I have no problem with understanding or forgiving. The real problem is that I do not forget.

It takes me awhile to understand, but once I do, I'm more able and quick to forgive.
