just how many insects / animals pollinate, and what are they?

I dont think animals & insects pollinate ..... I guess pollinate, pollination etc are the words used for plants only .......

Pollination is the process by which pollen (male gametes) from one plant is transferred to another, fertilizing the ovule (female gamete). Many insects and other animals pollinate plants, sometimes very specifically (e.g. fig wasps), sometimes to a broad range of plants (e.g., honeybees). Literally thousands of insects pollinate flowering plants, because they evolved and diversified at the same time.
