I had the McMansion in the 'burbs, and it was the right thing to have with three kids growing up. Now I think I'm ready for that beach house - but today, that's going to cost more than the McMansion!

OK,what about both .the last time i was in the l.a. area we st oped in the Huntington beach and saw a cutie little beach house that was for sale and they were only asking 1.3 million for it then in a neighborhood here in Sacramento called the fabulous forties i saw the adobe pink (yes pink) house it look
like a small spanish style house i have a little running joke that if the house was mine i would call it casa dephred (for my dog phred ).

I`d go with the mansion...beach house sounds great if it was just my boyfriend and I...but not with our three kids...they need a loooooooot of space (and space from each other....)
