Holy crap, my Weather Control Machine actually WORKS!? Weird, all this time I thought it was broken, but apparently it just causes chaotic weather in places other than what it's supposed to.
Oh, and if it starts raining Hellfire, I didn't have anything to do with it... >_>

Whenever my girlfriend travells from her parents' home to the city where she studies or vice versa, it always rains heavily, blows etc.! Weird, ah? In my opinion, weather can be affected by human good/bad mood when large masses of population feel the same way. But I suppose this doesn't fit your issue very much, right?

to be fair your activities could easily be done in the rain, its a BBQ for example that can't.
And it rains more at weekends due to fewer particles in the air (there is a wikipedia article i think)

i just faced this problem this morning when i went cycling with my family and i was cursing and swearing at this.
anyway me and my brother went ahead and cycle while my parents and youngest brother walk.
it was still fun even when we got dirty and super wet =p
the rain didn't dampen our spirit so just cheer and do something else =p
