In the Manchester area, I find the synthetic ones are not much good as they leave residue on the windows.

You can purchase original shammy leather in many Auto parts stores they carry the original shammy leather which is the best, but really all you need to wipe windows off with is good old newspaper it will leave windows streakless and won't leave residue and is much cheaper than a shammy leather. Good Luck !

More than likely at a janitorial supply store.

FYI - A chamois is not used for cleaning windows, it's used for drying!

Something that is less expensive, does a fantastic job, and works quickly to dry windows is a good quality squeegee (Ettore brand). If you've never tried one, why not buy one and see for yourself? I think you'll like it.

Remember, it must be good quality--not one you find at the grocery store, or an auto supply store. You'll find Ettore squeegees at janitorial supply stores and on-line as well.

Halfords, though personally I wouldn't use one as they smear the glass despite what everybody says.
Microfibre cloths are just great though and no need for chemicals either. Just spray the window with water and use the cloth. Much more eco-friendly and does a really good job. You can get them anywhere, supermarket, hardware store etc.

Hi there.. Halfords and B&Q also Tesco's Asda's in the motoring sections.. I just bought one in Asda's. If you get a real thick one it will do a better job for you and last longer. Halfords will do the thick ones.

All the best..ps.. my windows are always ready when you are! lol

You can get one in the automotive section of most large stores. You can use newspaper too as the newspaper print really makes it shine.
