I cannot seem to find a way to set preferences for search. For example, I would like it so that each time I search, the results returned are based on items available to a specific country. Is this possible?

Well go ahead and search for what you want, then save the search. Then, go to your 'My eBay' page. On the left-hand side, you will see 'favorite searches' aways down the page. Then, go to the search page, click on the dropdown menu on that search, and select 'edit preferences'. There will a LOT of different options available to narrow the search further, including by country.

Good luck!

When you are searching, a box pops up on the left hand side of the screen. Somewhere in there, close to the top, is a mileage thing - set that but it only lasts for that particular search.
