I do not mean STARES and looks at nothing else, but if he can't help but look from time to time does it not mean that he is appreciating her body and that she is nice to look at?...... this is surely a good thing right? and if women do not WANT men to look then why do they often wear such low cut cleavage tops, surely this encourages us and means that you want us to look right?...... i mean you are putting it right there

It all depends on what is appropriate. For instance, if it is YOUR man, then that is more acceptable than if it were a stranger. If he does it unconsciously, almost without thinking, that is better than staring. Even when a woman is dressed "modestly", her shape shows but she has not deliberately presented herself in a blatantly sexual way. It will probably anger some sector of the female population when I say that clothing which is very low cut, transparent, etc., is designed only to attract attention to those parts of the body exposed, and therefore when they do attract attention (welcome or otherwise) the wearer cannot reasonably complain. Still, when your man gives you the appreciative eye, the "once over", DISCREETLY, it's quite a nice feeling, isn't it?

Hi there Sharky VI, If a man looks at a women's breasts from time to time, that is acceptable. It would seem that it is a man's instinct to look at and appreciate a woman's breasts. It is partly true that, if a woman does not want a man to ogle her breasts, then she should not wear such revealing tops. On the other hand, a man should show some manners and restraint. I would not necessarily think that if a man looked at a woman's breasts that it would be an overall compliment. Afterall, it is JUST the breasts he is appreciating.

I never wear low cut tops nor show cleavage but you still can't hide them, they jump out ahead of you however this does not mean that I want to be seen as a pair of breasts with a body attached, I have a rather remarkable brain and I would perfer to have some stimulating conversation with men.... I enjoy mens' conversation far more than womens'.

I watch Top Gear and am quite happy to discuss cars, physics, astronomy instead of house, hubby/partner celebrities, holidays and worst of all ...... children.

Once and for all .... babies are boring, they don't do anything. They get interesting when they're about two or three and you can start to have a decent conversation with them.

Boy, you have several questions there...looking from "time to time" is just fine depending on the time lapse between the times
does not mean he "appreciates her body" it means he is solely thinking about her breasts
"good thing" ? she thinks so in the cases where she has a low cut cleavage top on, and ,yes, she is asking you to look
However, for the average woman,,a glance or two means nothing more than you're a male..but more than that and you're not in on the conversation between the two of you..you're having one all to yourself.. and most women appreciate a good listener more than a Leach..

Most women should not really mind. The only women who kick up such a fuss about that kind of thing are militant lesbians or those with a psychological complex against men. Slapping her **** or groping her, or making leery comments are unacceptable, but frankly looking at a woman's breasts if they are overtly on display should be fair enough. Although frankly if I am having to resort to looking at her boobs it is usually because she is probably cursed with the face of a pig.

From a female point of view, not having great big massive breasts, I am sad to say I've never had this problem!

The wonder bra never helped and I'm certainly not going out wearing chicken fillets!

But I do have nice eyes and I've never objected when a man stares into them!

I would feel flattered if a guy would occasionally glance at my boobs, but I'd like him to be paying attention to my face and what I'm saying more than my breasts. I wouldn't like it if he stared for a long time because it'd make me feel like I was boring him with what I was saying so he wasn't listening.
Men will be men, and besides, I like to have a look if I see a nice- looking guy.

A glance or two is fine. Staring and uttering "compliments" that would make a cavemen sound eloquent - is *not*.
Problem is, most men don't know the difference.
