The ball is in WWE's court now. Steve-O needs U.S.A. Network who needs WWE who wants Jackass where Steve-O is based. Since Jackass is not going to be at SummerSlam, WWE can now not give U.S.A. network the 3 hour Raw that they want until U.S.A. gets another star to participate in Summerslam.

wwe didn't drop the jackass bit, knoxville and them pulled out do to the fact that since the benoit tragedy people are starting to distance themselves from the wwe.
as far as superrandy91's answer, that is completely wrong. usa network does not need wwe, in fact usa network has recently told vince that raw needs to be "a little more russo like, take a look at tna." i wouldn't look for that three hour raw just yet seeing how usa's not sure if they're going to keep raw. do however look for tna impact to stretch from a one hour program to a two hour program here in the near future.

WWE did not drop Jackass, they backed out because of the negative publicity surrounding Chris Benoits death. Anyway I am glad they are no longer on the card because now we can see the proffesionals do it and not see some cringeworthy match with people who dont know what they are doing

they didnt back out, they dropped it because bam margera got injured skateboarding and ryan dunn pulled out to because of bam and johnny knocksville dropped out cuz he had to give an interview
