Yesterday I was walking down 25th and parish when all of a sudden the clouds part and I am beamed aboard a space ship I think. I'm tied down on this table scared as I have ever been. Then in walks a space creature. Now I am shaking, then I notice it has a mullet. I'm like "um if you want to earn respect you gotta cut that hair you just lost the effect." It tells me it is trying to blend in to humanity. I told it that a mullet isn't the right way to go about it. Then It shoots me with some ray gun now I have a mullet! Is this an ok haircut for something from outerspace?

Mullets are a sign of inferior intellligence, no race capable of space travel would ever wear a mullet unless it was as a decoy.
Or trying to pick up redneck human chicks.

It is extremely unreasonable and grossly tacky. Now, I can fully see why you might find it hot. Perhaps, as did I, you once had a crush on a person with a mullet. Like back in the 80's! I have also seen it's attempt at fashionable reemergence. But like bell bottoms, the movement will be brief. The reason is thus- The mullet was born in the 80's. It was a time of republican rule and we were having our first war since Viet Nam. Guys wanted to grow their hair out long but due to Reagan and the religious right it could not be done if one wanted a real job. So they only grew out the back. It is therefor not a real style but the only shot at long hair allowed to men at that time. It was the best shot at long hair any man who wanted regular income could expect to have. We no longer have those restraints. Now if a man wants to have long hair he doesn't have to limit himself to a mullet. The mullet was a rebelious style that was kinda pathetic even in it's day. And although you may have fond memories of hot guys with mullets back then, as a hairstyle, it was always a weak combination of sell-out and rebellion. It really has no place in modern style except as a nod to the past.

The only one anywhere in the universe who looked okay in a mullet was Kiefer Sutherland (sp)in 'The Lost Boys'. No one else looks good wearing a mullet. No one.

Since most aliens don't have hair, this was most likely either a false wig or they scalped some abductee for it. Did you forget to mention that anal probes and mullets go together? Just ask Mulder.
