There is a place in the bible that says God will heal the land if we turn away from our wickedness and pray to him asking for forgiveness, this is the best place to start. I have felt concern also, so I begun with myself in that I mean changing what I do everyday to cause destruction and pollution and instead begin to reverse all my moves to stop. Next, start applying safe and clean efforts in saving the planet as much as I can from using purifying water filter's instead of buying bottled water to using grocery bags that are reusable and not plastic ones. This is just a little sample I give you but there is so much more we can do. Join a green effort and get started. Be part of the changing attitude in people who go from me, me, me.. to the earth my home and planet that needs my help to recover.

The earth will take care of itself and it simply not possible to save all the people, all the time. Of course we could always offer Al Gore as a sacrifice to the terrible Earth Goddess, Gaia. It might not do any good but it would help to pass the time.

This is lame, but stay away from beaches to prevent tsunami. If your area doesn't occur that then never mind. You know glabal warming, do not use leaded fuel coz you will heat up our earth and plus I could get affected. How? I am living at the border of the equator. I hate the frying heat, man. We are contributing tooo much of crap to the air. Just read stuff at wikipedia and check on natural disasters and see how they say on how to prevent it. (Just wonderin' are you a hippie?)

If the history of the Earth has taught us anything it is that our time here as a species is limited and we should make the most of what we have, but humans being humans that's unlikely to happen.

People cannot destroy the planet nor do we have the capacity to save it. We can only build and then destroy what we have built.

No, i don't think we can stop hurricanes, twisters, cyclones, earthquakes....etc...

it wold be good if we did.. or better still
we should just ask God to stop them for us. :P Its much easier for Him - then us....
