Would they have to get a business liscence like everyone else? Just curious to see if the government has tried waiving some regulations to give folks a hand up.

If they are homeless and can't afford to pay rent, where are they going to get the money to start a business

WOW! I met a homeless woman today and thought about how hard it would be for her to start her own business since she had no capital in the first place!

Glad you thought of it...but I have no answer except to say that there is a checkbox on your tax forms that you must be able to prove that you have checked that ways you closed shop, otherwise they will project what you probably would have made based on previous statements and make you resposible to pay taxes accordingly....

As for the woman, I bought her a meal and had to leave it at that since I had my kids and someone else's I had to take back home.
