What are some things that I can "customize" myself for a tropical beach bash/bonfire?

For a birhday party, I want to customize things. I'm good with a computer and I'm crafty, so I can do it myself. I just need ideas of things to customize

So far, I've come up with:
----candy wrappers
----water bottle labels

I need more ideas, please!

Since your having a bonfire I got something cool for you to try. Get yourself a few pieces of copper pipe and some scrap peices of garden hose. Put the garden hose peices into the the copper pipe. You might want to flatten one end to stop it from falling out. Once you get these made flop them into your bonfire and it will create blues, greens and pink color flames.

Some people will drill holes in their pipes but you get the pretty colors without the holes and a lot easier to make too.

You could paint the underside of the plates you serve food on or in....just the underside so it doesn't come in contact with food.

Make your own centerpieces.

string up your own leis....not sure how, but you could.

for a beach party i would recommend customizing beach towels, sun glasses, tanning lotion bottles, sand pails or picnic basket, beach balls....
