Don't misunderstand me I do appreciate what message the film was trying to say in it's subtle way, but aside from all that the film was so dull. I switched off after they went to the all-night party. Did it get better?!

No it wasn't just you.

I couldn't believe such a dull film managed to attract so much hype.

I switched of before the end too.

Ya, it slowly grew on you. The sour tart that ends up tasting like cheese cake!
The technique of course was very "fly on the wall" and we were supposed to forget anyone was acting. As a film maker I loved it. For eye candy, it was pretty slow! I'm pretty tough, but the end made me shed a tear.

You amaze me. I loved it. I was absolutely enthralled from start to finish. I was just aching for them, and so relieved when they managed to pull away. Beautiful subtle performances, hypnotic photography and direction.

You say you "switched off", which may be the key. I saw it in the cinema. I don't think it would have nearly as much power on tv.

Haw,Haw!

It was one of the most ball breakingly (is that a word?) boring film I have tried to watch, it was dull, dull, dull to the final credits so you did not miss anything honey!

No, it didn't. Glad I'm not the only one who didn't like it. I think I had high expectations cos there was so much hype over it and then felt a bit let down when I didn't enjoy it, but I thought it was just me!

Moo23, thats actually the same time I turned it off. I was just too tired at the time and I couldnt keep my attention on it to finish it.
