What will the citizens use for weapons...they let the gov't take all their guns!!

No... Civil wars can only be fought - to any sort of attainable outcome.. when both sides only have muskets and horses.
One side now has Typhoon Jet Fighters - hellfire missiles and blydi good tanks..
Any civil war would just be a afternoon of target practice for the government.
You may as well just commit suicide quietly - in a warm hot bath.
Civil wars are from a bygone era.
Do you realise how many countries would come to the Governments aid? Dozens..including America.
Democracy is the greatest power the silly buggers have given us...
Don't give up on it...use it!!!

If so, it would be the first time an entire nation engaged in a 'slap-fight'. Without any guns, it's kind of hard to have a respectable civil war.
