Sounds like your eyelashes are dry. Do you sleep in the mascara? Or use waterproof, maybe? It might happen less if you washed eyemakeup off regularly and stuck to water-soluble mascara. And don't rub your eyes while wearing eyemakeup, ever. Not only because that makes lashes fall out, but also because that's an excellent way to get yourself a nasty infection, and then your eyelashes will be the least of your worries.

Eyelashes normally fall out from time to time. This could be a coincidence that it happens while you are wearing mascara. Something I've always done was from time to time, tug at my eyelashes. That way, I can control when and where the loose ones come out. I used to have a problem with eyelashes falling off and getting in my eyes. So I check for loose ones to prevent that from happening.

Eyelashes just normally fall out like the hair on our heads. If I wear mascara daily, it seem like my lashes break off more easily. I like to use Talika lipocils eyelash conditioning gel. My friend likes Jan Marini's age intervention eyelash conditioner.

It might be the brand you are using. If you are using the drugstore stuff they have a lot of fillers and stuff that are bad for you. I use the HD Mascara and have never had a problem with it. It has never smudged or clumped on me either. It is made by Bee-Luscious Cosmetics. You can find them at beeroyalproducts.com

Maybe you're using a mascara that you're allergic to? Try to switch to another brand.
OR maybe you curl it AFTER you put on mascara?
Anyways, condition them with vaseline, petroleum jelly, or vitamin E at night to see if it helps. Good luck!

agree with diamond girl, petroleum jelly will help them stay lush and full and shiny and noticable and it gives regular mascara wearers lashes a break from chemicals. (I think we may have picked up the same moment in a movie or a book, but I can't remember what one. lol, but I know I heard it somewhere in media)

A nightly application of castor oil or vaseline gently dabbed on to the lashes can help to strengthen and condition them.

Petroleum jelly on them every night will help - careful does it though, don't want it in your eyes. Just a light coating.
