There would be riots in the Superdome if they got rid of Brees (well unless they got Manning that is!). I don't know who told you such a thing but they are wrong.
The best offense is the Colts, same as all decade.
The Colts only real question going into the season is at left tackle following the retirement of Tarik Glenn. However, they had made some preparations anticipating him leaving next year. These include Charlie Johnson (who got a lot of time in the playoff run) and Tony Ugoh. Another possibility is shifting Diem to the left side. Something tells me that Howard Mudd will have this situation under control pretty quickly.
On the positive side, Addai has a year of experience and should put up monster numbers. Also, the addition of Gonzalez should return the Colts to the "King formation" seen in 2004.
Best quarterback
Best pair of primary receivers
Top 10 runner (possible top 5)
Excellent line (ran right over #2, 4, 5 run defenses, fewest sacks allowed)
Very good rookie slot receiver
Excellent coaching
Colts have the best offense. again.

I love that no one is saying the San Diego Chargers yet. It will make it so much better when my Bolts blow the doors off everyone else. Bears vaunted D? Torn up! Pats firepower? Shorted out by the Bolts!
No way the Saints get rid of Brees!

I got to say the Pats.
I don't think the Moss deal is going to be a bust.
You got Tom Brady, the most clutch player currently in the NFL, you have an emerging running back and a solid receiving core.
I think Patriots are going to be the team to beat.

The Cowboys, they have an all-pro quarterback, two of the best recievers in the game, the best tight end in the game, top 3 one/two punch coming out of the backfield. Their entire frontline will be healthy for the first time in 4 years.
Find me a team that can boast thos accolades and I'll listen. Until then it's all fan talk to me.

Bengals. We have Carson, Chad, and TJ, plus we'll have Henry back mid-season. We're the biggest threat in the air. Rudi Johnson is a great RB, and we added a new draft pick, Kenny Irons, whom we have high hopes for. Watch out for the Bengals.

the colts, rumor has it that they are going to open up their playbook even more. also watch out for the patriots, cowboys and Denver on offense.
the rams always put up good numbers. it will also be interesting to see if the saints can duplicate their yardage and point totals.
